Subject: Poker props anywhere?

Foxseelady ( ) posted Tue, 23 August 2005 at 12:24 AM · edited Sun, 04 August 2024 at 11:01 PM

Hi all, a friend of mine asked me to make a logo for his t-shirt for a poker thingy he came up with. Does anyone happen to know where I might find some poker stuff, such as cards (particularly Jack of dimaonds and 4 of hearts) and poker chips? Now I could do this in 2d; but where's the fun in that? ;) lol Thanks for any tips.

At Kendra's site there's a free set of casino chips and other casino stuff. There was a free card prop by Ikyoto, but on his rebuilded site (http://www.loresinger.com/Hourglass) there's no sign of it anymore. He mentioned something about rotating freebies, but there's no sign of anything. Try to contact him by his e-mail (available from the site). Or you can just simulate cards by putting texture map (and transparency map for rounded corners) on one-sided square prop.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I did this using ernyoka1's cards, my chips and Sams3d's table and chairs. :) For the stacks I used primitive cylindars but the chips can be textured to something different and I plan to work on "stacks" and "piles" when other projects are finished up (more casino stuff too). Oh, and lynnes dog morphs. ;)
