I am following this tutorial found on renderosity about making water reflections in p5 or p6. The tutorial was done in P5 so it seems there is some diffrences in settings I cant seem to figure out to get the disire results.

Tutorial Link: http://www.renderosity.com/tut.ez?Printable=916

Now the problem Im having is with displacement maps in p6 I can not get the same results with the ripple effect in the water reflection.

here are the images Im working with, and what im getting as a result. http://www.inspirations3d.com/wip.html

I tried lowering the displacement setting and raising still no effect. Anyone try this tutorial with Poser 6 and got the results of the tutorial, can you let me know how you did it?

Also I would like to change the color of the water effect to match the water tent of the background image I would like to use. I was told i need to adjust the transulcent node. Not sure exactly how or what this really is.(sorry for showing my noobieness ;D) Can anyone explain that to?

Last Thing anyone know a good tut on making water displacement maps, I would like to try to make my own as well perhaps it will better help me understand them and when to use them.

Thanks for any help I can receive, sorry for the long post.

Chris

And Information on how to make displacement maps on my own in photoshop 7 or CS. Thanks again :D Chris
