Oh boy...This looks fantastic!!! Now as to what programs I have...I have, Paintshop Pro 6 and 7, Photo Impact 5, Photoshop 5, and some other ones that I haven't even tried out. Now to be honest. I use Paintshop pro 6 for everything. The reason is I get lost in the other programs. I did mess with photoshop yesterday, played around with it a while, but I hate the undo thing...It only lets you undo one time and this isn't a good thing for me...Cuz I make lots of mistakes...and I also like to experiment with effects and then if I don't like them I like to undo to a point and then do something else.. But I promise I am going to try to use photoshop more, but I will need lots of help... I would love to know how you did the white vignette. I love that effect...
Leigh... Paint shop Pro or Photoshop. It really doesn't matter what you use as long as you are comfortable with it. Yes. the pro's all use Photoshop and it is more powerfull, but you can do just about anything with PSP too. I believe that if you use the 'History' pallete in Photoshop (on the right) you will find that this is a multiple undo function. You can step backwards through every thing that you have done. Vignettes... Hmmm You will have to translate this to PSP... Firstly, make a circular or oval selection with the circular selection tool. Invert the selection. Feather the selection. The amount of feathering really depends on the size of the image. I feathererd this by 10 pixels. My images are much bigger and I would feather them between 50 and 90 pixels. Next thing to do is adjust the brightness to 100% and that should do the trick. You can also just 'fill the selected area with color too.
