heyas; export the hair prop from poser as an obj. then open it in uvmapper. this will give you a template to follow. (save the template, from uvmapper, not the obj.) it might not be quite clear what part of the hair the template is for... when i make templates, i do a test colour map by painting red and blue marks on the left and right sides of the template, and seeing where they land on the model in poser.

Okay, so I've downloaded every hair prop and texture that I can find. I want to start working on my own hair textures, but I hit a brick wall. I've seen the good hair maps... the people that do them seem to know exactly which part of the textures will wrap where. My textures to date have basically just been one big 'square' of hair looking texture, with no idea where each strand will lay. Is there a way to get the maping of a hair prop... or any prop whatsoever? I'm just waiting to evolve to the next level, Spex http:poserart.lustyhost.com
