Here's my latest project. I still have a long way to go with it, but I've got the basic idea hammered out pretty well now, the next step is to start adding a lot of detail. Comments and criticism appreciated. -Paul

Looks like you've got a good start there Paul. Tony

Beautiful, I feel a strong affinity for the scene. I used to watch the iridescence on soap bubbles when I was doing dishes as a kid, which of course led to bad trouble from the 'rental units. So I can imagine a kid too busy watching the sky to finish the dishes in the sink. But maybe you were headed in a different direction. Still its wonderful!

Great title. Good spin on one in the field being taken and one remaining.

Thanks for all the comments, hopefully I'll suprise everyone with the final result. Eric, are you sure you are commenting on the right pic? It sounds like you were looking at someone else's work...

Paul, yup, I was talking about your image. Your URL "The Lord is Here" along with the image triggered a thought. Remember the passage in Luke 17:36? This reminds me of a domestic scene. If you had dirty dishes and water running, it would be a home with someone missing.

Ok, NOW your comment makes a little more sense to me :) Through the time I have been working on this image, it has almost been more fun getting people's interpretations on this image than it has been creating it. I've heard several ideas about what this image is about, I'm tempted to just leave my idea alone and let people make up what they think it's about... As for the URL, "The Lord Is Here" is a small organization run by a guy at my church that promotes christian concerts here in Gainesville, FL and sponsors mission trips to third world countries. I'm working on the web page for him (not done yet, but close), so feel free to browse around thelordishere.org, even though it's not technically "live" yet.
