Here is a photo I took while at the zoo down near Miami, it was a really small zoo , but hey it was so much fun just seeing all the animals and the beautiful scenery. This was a taken using my Panasonic digital camera. Hope you like them. I loved the curves of their necks.... Leigh

Yes very arty Leigh. Here is a tip!!! When a fence is in the way. There are a few possibilities. One is climb over it. Obviously not applicable in this case. Another is lean over it. Dont be afraid to get in close. The other is make a point of the fence. Ie... If the fence is a wire fence try taking a few shots through it. I like this picture. Colm...

Leigh, they are like living sculptures.....what a beautiful picture. Do you ever get them in your backyard? Wow...I would love to see something like this...

Those are some beautiful birds. Miami is so hot and humid though, how could you stand to operate a camera down there? :-)

i like the picture. i see they feed them right at the zoo to get that bright of color. i like "S" neck too.
