Hi Gang I'm wanting a new graphics card that supports 'OpenGL' but i have found this card that i feel is better. ive an readeon 9800xl and it works fine in games like unreal and 3dapps alike. just check that the driver can handle opengl, direct x is great for most things too. open gl is a kind of mac thing i believe?

I got an ATI RADEON 9600XT, works great. Yeah what that guy above wrote;)

And what better, 9600XT or 9550 ? I have now the 9600XT, don't have any problems :-)

Thanks guys. I have since found out that this card does support openGL so i think i might be a happy chappy when done installing it! Thanks again, it is appreciated. :) Is the 9600xt better than the 9550?.....cripes another headache!!

OpenGL is not really a Mac thing. Apple needs to work on its integration more, known issues I have heard bitched about in C4D forum here and at CGTalk.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
