Most likely the information stored in the LibraryPrefs.xml doesn't match the folder structure on your machine. The file is in your prefs folder in your Poser 6 runtime. You can edit it using any texteditor. It is quite self explaining when you're looking at it. You can also deletet this file. Poser will create a new one upon the next start. You will have to reconnect all your runtimes though. Martin

I had this same problem some time ago after purchasing something from DAZ (I contacted them about it, and it got corrected, I believe). In that instance, a specific library started with "$", which is an XML reserved character (one of the merchants was trying to get above "!"??). When P5 tried to start up, it couldn't parse the XML file which told it how the library set-up was last left. So P5 didn't open. I eventually tracked it down, and deleted the erroneous line, then renamed the offending directory (library). Cheers, Diolma

Forgot about those characters. Another one that may cause problems is "&" in folder names. Those characters will cause trouble, when you quit Poser and one of the last openened directories contains one of these characters. Otherwise, you may never see them causing any problems.

Umm. Yes, it might have been "&". It was a long time ago... There are probably others (I don't really know XML..) Cheers, Diolma
