I was so happy I had to come tell you guys...I have set away some money for a new camera, when income tax refund comes in. Well I have been talking to my dad and he was looking for the "right" camera for me. He called me last night and asked if it was okay for him to throw in some money to make sure I got a real good camera as a birthday present. Of course I said yes. He is matching what I have so hopefully I will be getting a real good camera soon and then boy you all better watch out cuz then I will be snapping pictures all the time. I already have so many ideas on where I want to go what I want to try to capture, all kinds of things. I am just so excited and can't wait til I get my camera. I have also been doing searches for photography things. I have found a bunch of links with tips and techniques and I have even found a few online courses. They aren't that great but they will help me learn some of the basics and maybe make me a little better. I just wanted to let you all know. Leigh

Leigh, that is great news. As soon as you decide which camera you are getting, let us all know. Also... Why not post the links you have found in a seperate thread for everyone to share... Thanks, Choose wisely, Colm...

I will let you all know when and what kind of camera I get. I am really excited about all of this. I posted all the links in a new post...I can probably find more, if you would like. I have a question too. Do you think it might be possible to have a page where we list all these resources we are finding? If Renderosity can't do it, maybe I can throw something up on my @home site. That might be helpful for the person that is looking for something but doesn't read threw all the threads. Just an idea. Leigh

This is a great idea...I can throw one up two perhaps, but not till after tomorrow, if thats alright. Just have a one stop resource page. Leigh, you just keep comin up with em! Syyd
