Subject: Uploading pictures into the gallery

I just tried a couple times to upload my pic into the gallery section, but it won't take. As far as I can tell, I did everything according to the specs. The only problem I had was at the bottom, in the 'Product Credits' section. I couldn't find any of the merchants' names to credit them so I typed everything in the 'item name' box on the left hand side. Could this have stopped the upload? If so, how else can I give credit to the people whose items I've used in my renderings? Thanks, Ithkinlore

You can put a list of credits in the notes part but you dont actually have to put any credits for your picture if you dont want to.

Did you get an error message? Yes, if you can't see the merchant's name in the pulldown menu, add the credits into the notes section.

...or just don't add them in the box. You can type them in the body section if you want or just don't list them at all. Nobody says you HAVE to list everybody.

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

No, I didn't get an error message. More like the upload page was ignoring me. It would feel wrong not to acknowledge all the people who have made the items I am using. Somewhere down the road, I hope I'm good enough to make things that people might want to use in their renders. Thanks everyone, Ithkinlore

Your image looks terrific! The only suggestion I'd make for the future would be to upload a thumbnail image, too. A small image 200x200 or less (and less than 15kb filesize) which highlights an interesting part of your image will catch people's attention.

Keep up the great work and welcome to the galleries!! :D
