This question is more for the mods if they can help.

How do I change my username and keep everything with the new name.

djinn-djinn is getting pretty tired.

Prsently there is not a way to do that. Right now, the only alternative is to create a new account, but then you would not be able to transfer your purchase history, etc to the new one.

Would be great though wouldn't it? When I joined I just picked any old name not thinking really that I could ever go anywhere in this poser world......now here I am addicted and stuck with the name lol ah well.

Username is usually the only part of an account you neven can change... Hey, djinn-djinn rocks :)

Yeah, don't feel bad... djinn-djinn is okay, at leatst you raren't stuck with cyberboy70. No offence cyberboy/girl :) Man, I chose my name on a whim back in '92 (pre-Renderosity) and now I'm stuck with it. Can't imagine anything good to replace it with though anyway. There have been people here who have transitioned into new names though... 5 years member "cred" lost... bummer.

Well it is a bit fustrating, I chose "trav" when I first joined and before I realized there was another well known Poser person called Traveller. Since then I go by "shadowrider" on all of the other boards, but one, but my purchase history etc. has since gotten so big that to change accounts just isn't an option... I wonder if an IM to a mod might help? mike

No, mods and admins don't have the ability to change usernames either

I learned from years of online gaming, the importance of taking time to think of a name you like and can live with in the long term. I must be one of the few that likes their nick :)

Hey, Acadia, thats why I originally chose it. He hated uniforms because he was kicked around by the palace guards. Always liked the hidden meaning.

Oh, well, I tried. Maybe it'll be a future option.

I have nothing against my nick... except that I'd like to have it with proper capitalization (or whatever you call it in English blush) - Vilian, not vilian.

Most fitting, since you usually do scenery...

BTW, I'd like to change nick too, not because I don't like that one, but because I'm better known by another everywhere else.
