These are not meant to be the only choices you have, but something to get the creative juices flowing; if you already have a great idea, go for it!. 1. This involves time travel, and an alternate universe. :^) Think of your favorite album. Now instead of the original artwork (which doesn't exist in this alternate timeline), the artist/band has come to you to design the artwork for the cover. Consider the songs on the album, the image the artist/band has with the public, etc. 2. Create your own imaginary artist/band (if you have an actual musical career or band, all the better) then create a cover for their new album. 3. Create an imaginary album for a favorite artist/band. Consider their public image, the types of past choices that have been made for their album covers. 4. Recreate a favorite album design in Bryce (like my Dark Side of the Moon above). If you like something by Roger Dean or Hipgnosis, go for it! Note: Album=CD. This may be somewhat archaic language, I'm over fifty. :^) John

"80% Bryce" refers to the visible part of the render, not whether the content is Bryce. :^)

Text and a reasonable amount of other postwork, yes. :^)

Challenge: Design an album cover for a music CD. Rules: 1. Almost anything is allowed. Final entry image should be at least 80% Bryce (I'll trust you). 2. 2d pics are allowed, but entire entry should not be just a photo, rendered in Bryce. 3. Imports are allowed. 4. Final image should be square (600 X 600), as the design is to represent a CD cover, but anything up to the max (800 X 600 or 600 X 800) is acceptable. 5. Text may be added in a paint program or rendered in Bryce if your design requires text. 6. Image should be new and created expressly for the Challenge. Please feel free to post works in progress and final images in the Forum, as this will encourage or inspire other members, and put a lock on any idea you have. 7. If there's anything I've forgotten to mention, it's probably allowed, but ask anyway. :^) I've included an example of my own. The Dark Side of the Moon image was made entirely in Bryce 5 (except for the signature). I won't be making an image for the Challenge, not because I think I might win again (sure...), I just think it's good form not to enter a challenge of your own design.
