Subject: Happy "Hump" Day! 10-12-05 :)

Sometimes when life seems like an endless maze, getting a bit of elevation and a smile from a friend makes all the difference! Last year's "Maize" at Ardenwood. Too easy with too many hint-signs, but a nice lay out. A bridge allows for cross-over paths and also appreciation of the designer's pattern. ;) The gentleman is dannylow, another forumite and fellow photographer. Carolly

Would love to see the patern of the 'maize' if you have a shot. :D

Nice wavy lines throughout the maze, but the bridge wasn't near any good, obvious, pattern-point. This shot does give a feel for the area, though.

These are not great shots, but do show that the "maize"-builders strike anywhere there is a flat plot of ground.

The company which does the Ardenwood Maze also did one in Portland with a Rose motif. At the entrance kiosk, there was a board with satellite images of their past mazeworks (sorry about the plastic reflections).

A nice maze with star, witch, moon, pumpkin.... :)

Last year's maze had a clear white star, but I don't remember what else.

I've got a bunch of them from the day in the field, but when it is corn as far as you can see, and that isn't very far at all, it is difficult to find something compelling! ;) Carolly
