I'm baffled and any adcice is truly appreciated. Scaling, missing clothes and hair, etc. has me overwhelmed.

What Poser version? What update status of Vue? What do you try to import? You should provide us with some information if you want us to help you.

Oops, thanks wabe. I'm using Poser4.03 and Vue 4.22. I close Poser and then Import the Poser .pz3 file. Once the figure appears in Vue, there's no textures, hair or clothing. Also, when scaling the Poser figure, it gets out of proportion.

Are the textures, hair elements or clothing in the standard Runtime or somewhere outside? Poser has one bad attitude. In the pz3 it does not save the full pathnames. Only from "Runtime" downwards. That is why Vue needs to know where the application is, to read some settings and find the Runtime. Now when you have your stuff somewhere else and use a little program that does the link in Poser, Vue is lost. That will not work probably. And it sounds much like something like that. Can you try a default Poser figure with default Poser clothes - both in the default Runtime? To see "in general" wether it works or not.
