Subject: May be a dumb question

I'm doing a short animaton in Poser using the "Heavies" characters. Even at no compression inporting into my NLE suite at 720X480 I get too low of a resolution. What size should I work at to get a good looking render to insert into a video?

You may need to elaborate a bit more in order to get an accurate answer to this. For instance, what version of Poser are you using? This matters, because I'm quite sure your problem is not in the output size of your video, but rather the render settings that are involved here. What exactly do you mean by "low resolution"? Are you experiencing jaggies and poor anti-aliasing? Pixel crawling? Shadow flicker? Can you show us an example of the output?

Tools :  3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender v2.74

System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB GPU.
