Since adding the latest patch for P6 my mouse dissapears and I have to ctrl, alt del to reboot poser! I am now saving my work every 30secs or so which is driving me nuts!Everything is fine untill I start scrolling the morph dials and after about 10 mins it happens..Ive reloaded poser and then added the updaters again and still it keeps happening! On another note when I try to do a large high setting render poser6 crashes and my system leaves a message stating it has recovered from a serious error! Ive been using poser through from p4,pr0,p5 to 6 and only have had problems with 6! Can anyone leave me any guidance please, All the best cal

it sounds like a video problem. make sure you have the latest drivers. If so, might lower the acceleration at notch or two.

Thanks PabloS I will try that :)

2nd on Pablo For the dissappearing mouse you can click on the lightball (if you can find it). May want to search this in forums. There is something you can click on to restore the mouse. No need to reboot. Hang in there

I've had the same problem on my 1.8 Ghz machine with the 2Gig's of ram. Mouse cursor goes by by and clicking on ANYTHING to restore it is a hit or miss operation that could leave a sane person crying. Try hitting the light ball with no cursor. Go ahead. I dare ya. I'm gonna check my own graphics acceleration settings. Hope that helps.

Thanks richardson and Mizreal,I discovered I could relight my mouse by the lucky lightball hit thing but the programme is still jammed up,saying that ~ I can move around my mouse and activate some irrelevant things, but the document window wont work or anything in it(like cant select anything). If I try to render nothing happens(no textures load~just tries to) and if I try to go to another window ,say material -the system just clogs up ,dragging windows leaves multiple shadow windows and all other types of rubbish.I still havent tried pablos method of possible cure but with Mizraels message Im not too confident on that, unless its turning acceleration down?I'll try it tonight:) Thanks for the replys ppl:) Cal

Yeah I was hoping the acceleration speed option he mentioned might cut down on some of the glitches. Maybe turning off any hardware acceleration even. Sometimes hardware acceleration interfere's with software acceleration settings.

Hiya Cal. I get the "I've got a cursor but it's not doing anything" thing in P6 once in a while. I don't know the cause but I can usually clear it by closing the paramters tab and then double-clicking on a part of the character's body to bring it up again. My mouse functions seem to all come back after that.
