Subject: Is it just me?

Or is anyone else having problems with the Galleries? I keep getting those little red x marks that mean the thumbnails/pictures are unavailable. Everything else is fine but the Galleries. mike

I dunno, about half the time I wonder if 'Rosity is verifying my DNA before it shows me a page.

The usual reason for Gallery problems is your system clock. Check your date and time.

Thanks SamTherapy, that was teh problem. Never had that one before. I checked all of my browser settings, but never thought to check the clock. mike

Weird, ain't it? The only reason I know is because it happened to me once. I think ClintH pointed me in the right direction.

I can't view many of the thumbnails at all on my desktop. Not even in the stores. The occasional thumbnail opens, but most are just plain red x's. This is the only site that it happens with too. I browse other sites and can view numerous thumbnails without a problem. I think it's something idiopathic to this site.

I thought so, but I tried lowering my firewall and it was the same. Now my desktop isn't the most powerful of computers (Pent III, 1 gig), but it should be able to view a page of thumbnails here. I spend most of my time on my laptop so it doesn't bother me all that much, but it's weird that it's only this site that I have the problem with.
