Subject: Site speed kind of wonky

Sometimes pages here load at almost lightspeed, but seconds later, a page will take forever to load. Sometimes I click a link and watch my IE status bar slowly creeping along, until I hit ESC. Then, more often than not I immediately click the same link and it loads instantly. I have high-speed broadband. This is the only site I regularly visit which exhibits this bizarre behavior.

Does it for me too. Not sure why, though. Ghosts in the machine, perhaps ;)

That happens to me quite often, as well. When it does, I just go to other sites, and come back here if I remember.

Site is limping today. I get slow speeds a couple times a week. It gets slow enough to start hanging and failing maybe once a week, driving me to go elsewhere. Nothing else online behaves like that -- at those times or others.

Ghosts in the machine, eh? Better call Will Smith. Heh heh heh. Same things happen to me - dunno why, I just wait. -Zak
