Hi Poserites, Let's say that I want to cajole my mom into getting me a gift certificate for the MP here for Christmas. How exactly would she go about it? Remember, mom is 'computer-challenged'. :)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

You could see how much your Mom trusts you with her credit card. Or (and more likely) you could invite her over and choose something together in a touching offspring/parent bonding session, which she would then pay for. Unless of course you were planning on buying something your Mom would not approve of. Otherwise your Mom would probably have to have her own login to renderosity to buy a gift certificate. John :)

Well, since she is in Philadelphia and I'm outside of Denver, it may be tricky. :) This is what I was afraid of. I have offered an alternative wherein she could transfer money into my PayPal account which then could be used to purchase items.
