This is Sacred Rose's picture slightly re-worked in Photoshop. Thanks a lot for letting me play with it, Rose. Hope you like it.

Beautiful work...its nice to see to varying degrees everything that can be accomplished with photography I like the clay colored tones, and warmth set against the cool greens and grays, and that hint of whitish gray on the gum tree. Reminds me of "Kookobura sits by the old gum tree, merry merry king of the bush is he, laugh, kookobura laugh....." (Spellings all wrong, but I learned the song as a kid) Thanks A1 PS going to make a beeline to see rose's work LOL

There appears to be a wide area of creativity opened by making the photographic image digital. I able to attend a lecture by Ansel Adams assistant and biographer. Her comment was that Adams skill was two fold, selecting a view and then great print making. He disliked color because he lacked the print making control to make his print become equal to the initial vision. Some of Adams great prints are not in the original negative.

I think for me, the part I like the best is the digital arena, simply for experiments sake. But I have to say that b/w is also some of my favorite work. Color is how you use it, same as b/w. And of course, Mr. Adams, well, we all can dream....
