Hi all, My new website is up and running. It's not fully done yet, but all the important stuff, the goodies, are up. Come on over and fill up :) Laurie

Hey, THANKS, Laurie! BTW, if you look at the Vue Free Stuff here, you'll see that we now have sub-categories. Also your things are dead links, which I discovered when I was moving everything from the "General" category to their new homes. I didn't want to outright delete your items, hoping you would notice and post the new links.... I had actually assumed that something had either gone wrong, or you were moving. Thanks for the link to your new site! :) Mike

Well, Varian, I don't know about thrilled ;), but it's nice to be able to let folks come to a site with no vile advertising, especially banners that cover up my artwork! LOL. Anyway, it has much more room for me to upload free stuff to and that was my main goal...to share my things. I'd like for it to become an important Vue resource, if that doesn't sound too presumptuous. There are SOOOO many Bryce sites and not nearly enough folks giving away Vue objects and things. I just want to contribute :) Laurie

Well, you definitely contribute, and if you keep making such fantastic images to admire and models for plaing with, I can't think of much else to qualify you for Important Vue Resource status! LOL! We'll all just keep passing the word along...that'll do the trick! Btw, that is an exceptionally lovely wreath you placed in the Vue Free Stuff! Your models are way beyond the ordinary; they're so lifelike. :)

Daffy34 ( ) posted Sun, 11 March 2001 at 11:29 PM

Thanks Varian :) I'm glad you like it, even if it is HUGE! It's the same wreath from my "Wreath In Window" image, modified a bit to reduce the size (THAT one was over 80 megs! LOL). I had to take off most of the little flowers and sticks to drastically cut the file size. I was pleased with it anyway and decided what the heck! I'll give it away anyway! If someone really wants it, they'll take the time to download ;) Laurie

Hey Laurie....I am a junkie and I grab everything that was there...even its three time the size of your 5+ over Meg Wreath ;) Yap!...the best quality I have seen of Freebie for Vue. Thanks. -Bill

Thanks a lot Bill!! I was thinking of you and Mitch when I started my newest stuff...a sand dollar, sea fans, starfish, and mushroom coral (terrain objects of course ;). You two fellows make the best underwater landscapes I've ever seen! They'll be available soon. Keep ya posted :) Laurie

tesign ( ) posted Mon, 12 March 2001 at 1:07 AM

You are darling Laurie :) I intend to do some too but not with Vue terrain, however, they be converted to obj or vob. Currently I do not have a web site yet, someday soon. Bill

Thanks Laurie :) I just got here after a bad crash....finally, an excuse to do a reformat and reinstallation of everything. I visit here when I can but am going to grab your stuff first :) I'm still down at zero level program installed, just window and browser. Catch up with you all later. Bill

Laurie, Those sea things are just the ticket for me too! Thank you! I am sympathysing and empethysing (spelling) with Bill, we had a wind_blow and the thing crashed a few days ago. Just getting things loaded back on. Fortunatly, we only keep the programs on the c drive and have all the nice goodies on other drives, so all is not lost.
