One trick to try is "layering" different "levels" of images. works really well with photos. make a background blur/soften it 5 or 6 times, make a midground - blur 3-4, foreground once or twice. Join the lot together as layers in photoshop or as transparent selctions in other paint packages. Done right gives a neat out of focused look. Or try making some alpha planes within poser, sticking the most blurred images towards the back. This can work even better particulary with only head and neck shots.

Earlier this week i posted a question regarding 3D programs and would like to thank all those that responded.
What i would like to ask now, is there some program that will allow me to create 3D effects on 2D images, say photographs, composite images or backdrops created in photoshop or painter.
