Subject: lost my top view camera

when viewing my scene with different cameras, sometimes I move them around with the little "hand" symbols to get a better look, but I've gone and dragged my top view camera way the heck off somewhere and cant get it back...when I change to that view I dont see my scene...I've tried to use the Properties settings to adjust its position, but that didn't bring it back... is there any way to reset a specific camera to default point of view while working on a scene, without affecting the other cameras or my scene?

From the edit menu, select Restore > Camera. That should put it back to its default settings.

thanks for your help EnglishBob...I didn't want to mess around and screw things up even more...

You're welcome... I assume that did the trick? Those orthogonal cameras (front, back, sides, top) can be tricky to control when you start zooming or moving them. Your mouse falls off the edge of the table in no time. ;)

I find that the best way to get optimum use of the ortho cameras is to use the zoom tool to get close to the area I want, and then restore the camera when done.
