Thanks for this link. Serious talent found there. Those formula racers are fantastic.

I think I died and went to heaven. Been looking for a good model of a P40 for a long time.

Huolong- his P-40 really is excellent. It is the most correctly modeled P-40-B, P-40-C I have ever found. He also appears to use the highly accurate Squadron/Signal publications books for paint schemes and insignia. His P-40 is an exact replica of the classic Flying Tigers version and will also work for me an an early P-40 series of the type that Army Air Corps flew during the December 7 attack on Pearl Harbor... (Movie due out this summer...) I also purchased a Maximum CGI CD-ROM called "Fighting Aircraft of WW-II", mainly for the P-40 model- and this guy's model is better. (The CD is not a bad deal for $49.00 however...)

Verrrry Interesting. Guess what. The same models are in the 3DCafe's VIP area with a larger file. Same thumbnails too!

Is the membership worth it?

Huolong ( ) posted Mon, 12 March 2001 at 9:58 PM

Too early to tell. The links within the site are wobbly, the enrollment process takes 24 hours and I got a snotty response from them regarding this issue. So far the models are of a quality to justify a week's trial membership. Stay tuned

Thanks, I appreciate the "advance" info. Somebody's go in and check it out- glad its you, and not me... BTW- For anyone else interested in the Maximum CGI CD- they are long ago out of business- but WWW.Digimation.Com still has it (or had it). It's a minor side item for them so you may need to ask them about it...
