Hi beos53,
re:"How do you get rid of magnets or deformers after they are used on a figure and still keep the figure the way you redid it."
Now you have a new "Morph" (or whatever you named it when you created it in step #2 above) parameter dial for the object.
Change the "Morph" parameter value to 1.000 and you will have the same deformation as with the original Magnet but without any Magnet(s) attached.
Walla!
And that's all there is to it!

;=]
P.S. Nice pic and my guess is Daisy Mae from Dogpatch .... YES!!! ;=]

Hi linkdink,
Here's how it works ...................... try it, you'll like it. ;=]
As soon as you click on "Spawn Morph Target" ...
... a window opens where you can "Name" the morph.
The "Name" that you enter will be the name of a new parameter dial that can be seen when the original object is selected.
No other actions are necessary, i.e, no import is required. ;=]
Good question, BTW !

dr. geep: Thank you, that worked perfectly!!!! lyrra: After reading your post, I remembered I have that somewhere, I just wonder where I have put it. I think this is the best hair for her. Unless some has any sugesstions? The face on the right and left are the same, the one in the middle is slightly differant, but looking at the picture you can't tell it. The Figure on the left is going to be Moonbeam McSwine the on on the right is going to be Stupfyin' Jones and the one in the middle will be Daisy Mae. Dogpatch all the way.

Re: Spawn Morph Target...
Just in case is wasn't obvious from the above, don't forget to save the character back to the characters library (possibly under a new name)...
Unless you only want to use that character in a single scene, in which case save the scene.
To be REALLY safe, do both:-))
Cheers,
Diolma

Pay attention. If your magnet deforms multiple groups, you will have to repeat the procedure for each group> As mentioned above, pay also attention to existing deformers when spawing morph targets this way. Clear all other deformers from touching groups and check, check-check, because once the magnet is deleted, and you missed something, you will have to start over again.

Thanks for Moonbeam beos53. This is the best image I could find of her-which you probably saw already. The belt and that tear on the left shoulder are pretty much the most distinctive things about her dress that I can see. I don't have The Girl but I bet she'd make a great Moonbeam."Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance." - H. L. Mencken
I still have Allie's hair. I wonder if I have the zip somewhere. The big secret was the transparency map rather than a texture, I think. I recognized everybody except the one on the right. I didn't know Stupefyin' Jones wore a leaf pattern dress. I'm only familiar with Julie Newmar in the movie version. It's obvious that The Girl would make a great Moonbeam. What dress are you using for these girls? It's obvious you are faking the tattered bottom edge. I would think you could use a transparency map for that as well, but I could be wrong.
"The big secret was the transparency map rather than a texture, I think." I don't even remember if there was a texture included. I have a file named curltrans.zip with nothing in it but 3 trans maps, no texture or read-me. I'm not sure if that's Allereirauh's original. One of the nice things was that Schlabber used to include separate hair poses for the conforming curls in all of his pose sets.

I thank everyone about the information on the Deformers and magnets Acadia and Francemi: Madonna? Barbie? Daisy Duke?, Charlie's Angels! Good Guesses, The picture I posted does look more like those characters than what I am trying to achieve. Talos: Ya, it was the transparency map that made the hair look good. The tattered bottom edge of the dress is a transparency map (the bottom of the dress has a lace strip on it, that is what I used in conjunction with a transparency map). The dress is the ISOP Catherine Maid Dress for V3. I used WW to make it fit Aiko. The couple of pictures I found of Stupifyn' Jones showed her in a leaf dress. yungturk39: Thank you for reminding me about that hair, I downloaded it again and it will work good. lmckenzie you and Talos I think are right The Girl would make a Moonbeam, but I don't have The Girl either. I am remodifying the Aiko Character to look more like Daisy Mae, Moonbeam, etc, stouter thighs etc, The face I just started on and it is seems to be coming along pretty good. And thanks for the picture of Moonbeam, I will make her dress to look like that I did send an email to Capp Industries to see if I need and to get their permission to create these and then Post them. If they say ok or I dont need permission then Imckenzie you will have your moonbeam.

Kewl! I was just at their site and saw that you have to give them name, address etc. just to download some images so I wouldn't be too optimistic about permission but you never know. People have done look alike characters without calling them the copyrighted character. If you just provided the morphs,Moonbeam could be something like "Pig Keeper's Daughter." I'd keep the dress separate. I think Sara is the closest free character to the Girl but I don't know if she can be "voluptuized" as well :-)

*I think Sara is the closest free character to the Girl but I don't know if she can be "voluptuized" as well* Yep, she can. Ratteler made such morphs for Sara and you can get the "voluptuous" Sara at 3dSaraCreations (link above). ;o) FranceFrance, Proud Owner of

Wow, that's amazing! Offhand, the tear on the dress shoulder looks a little too wide and "regular" but that's without looking back at the reference picture. All she needs is that languid, come hither expression which in retrospect makes me wonder what she was smoking in that pipe. Is this done using your own morphs or do you need the expression packs?

lmckenzie: this is the free Aiko LE, the only morph package I have for her is the free from Daz, Update Aiko Maps and Morphs. It said it was for the free Aiko that was on some CD magizens, butit worked fine with Aiko LE

Looks like a lump of coal in my stocking unfortunately. I tried installing the package and after grinding through all my drives it said "Required Content Not Found." I have the !Aiko 3 LE.cr2 and the other files in their default install locations but apparently, it wants the Aiko from the cover disk, not the free Aike from Daz. Maybe the changed the installer since you got it. What did yours install?

The hair is Zygote Long Curly Bending Hair, Did anyone ever make any good textures for this hair?I couldn't find any good pictures other than profiles from the bust up, so I had to use my memory for the black and leaf dress. I think those were right. Also I have searched, but cannot find the answer. How do you get rid of magnets or deformers after they are used on a figure and still keep the figure the way you redid it.
