Subject: Motion Editors?

justpatrick ( ) posted Mon, 05 December 2005 at 1:06 AM · edited Thu, 21 November 2024 at 11:00 PM

Does anyone know of any decent motion editors out there aside from MotionBuilder or Lifeforms? Something that can take an generic BVH and map it to a particular joint setup for more accurate motion importing? For example if I wanted to use a generic BVH in Poser, I could map it to the "skeleton" of my figure in Lifeforms, and the new BVH would import more accurately. Are these the only two programs out there that can do something like that?

Reallusion dose have a nice motion editor. Simple, fast and nothing fancy. The only problem is it doesn't support BVH. They say that it will soon but I'm afraid that it will be only import with no export. Down load and try it. Maybe if enough people get on their case they will add it. Dale
