Subject: A quick question or two

I have bryce 3d that I use for composite images with poser mostly . Does any one know if it's possible to have poser figures in bryce cast shadows but not render in the image ? Also is there a quick way to match poser camera settings in bryce ?

translate the figuer out of the field of view (Towards you)to get the cast shadow effect. Mathcing Poser camera settings? like what? I think I need clarification. Regards, Matt

The main camera's focus setting (100mm) . The shadows are not really that big of a deal but I really need to match the original poser camera settings in bryce to get the scene right .

Ah, thanks. Select the camera and click the little 'a' that shows up. in the attributes box enter 100 in the FOV box that should fix your problem...

You can also leave the figure in the scene, but make it completely transparent, but with an index of refraction greater than 1 for interesting shadow effects, or you could just render it twice, once with the figure in the scene and one without, and combine the scenes in photoshop and erase the character.
