Visa and Mastercard both offer "refillable" debit cards which can be given as gifts and are essentially the equivalent of bank-issued ATM/debit cards. They can be bought at many convenience stores as well as Wal Mart, et.al. So if I buy my niece one of these cards for Christmas can she use it here in the Marketplace? If so, can it be either/or? It's probably a stupid question, but I need to know for sure. Thank you.

Yep, a refillable Mastercard debit card is how I pay for almost all of my purchases here, and also at 3dCommune, RDNA, PoserPros, Daz, etc... as far as I know, any site that takes regular visa and mastercard will take them.
