Hi Guys Thought I'd just update my thread on the mini sub that I'm building. Lots of comments left in the other thread have been used and i hope you all will see a big difference......still waiting for renders of the sub but i have been very busy........(Many many hours and late nights) making the robotic arms. I had found some websites that have been used for the making of the arms so they will look more realistic, As always, comments very welcomed, that way i can learn :) Marc

marc love them arms and claws now...great job

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Well, at last i have finished (until i see something else to do!) This is the Sea Crawler which will again be a freebie to anyone who would like it. Two versions, one with the legs and one without. The arms are linked so they can work as real arms do. Shoulder joint, elbow, wrist hand and fingers. Lights inside the mini sub which can be dimmed or brightened to suit. As a bonus!!!!!........robotic arms will also be a freebie by themselves.......... If i have missed something, please tell me. Have a great weekend and as its 3.40AM, I'm of to bed!!

Thanks guys. Just trying some touch ups and then hopefully get them on a site for downloading. This has certainly been a wonderful experience and by getting down to the nuts and bolts (literally) i feel I'm becoming a better modeler and understanding how things work and how to build the parts to feel they are real in someway. Still a very long way to get on par with all of you lot though!! Thanks for the support, it has been very appreciated. Marc :)

Wooohooo excellent job! Love those grabbers. I can see this doing important mining and scientific reasearch in my renders.
