I see people making chrome in p6 and p5 but i can seem to figure it out anyone know where i can gewt som mat files for making chrome shaders or textures for metal parts?

There's a tutorial for a Chrome Mat file over at RDNA. Helped me a lot.

Chrome is essentially a mirror. Isn't there a "mirror" texture which comes stock with poser?

When I do chrome, I usually always tint the colour to a very light blue. It just seems to look better to my eyes then perfectly mirrored silver. Ajax has some shaders in the freestuff here, search for Ajax's P5 Shader Pack 01 Also, Mapps has P5/6 materials that you could use as a base. Mapps Materials</>

How do i download the poser 5 textures? cant seem to click on anything at the site....

At the top of the page, it says Downloads 7, that is the page the pack is on. Click that on the list on the left to get taken to the material download.
