Playing around with Ultraman noticed he kinda reminds me of spiderman hmmm, you think? Anyway Im playing around with making him real buff but compact at the same time and altering the image to look cartoon like. I named him ULTRAMAN Guardian because there have been alot of ULTRAMAN Guardians, But this one i want to make silver with some bump mapping but i have not finished the bump mapping yet.

without the cartoon effect, also ill credit the person soon as i figure out who made the ultraman figures, i used the head on David's body and morphed david severly to get a kind of animae build for him.

Mighty Lady did the Ultraman/Ultrawoman figures...if I was at home I could get you the link to her site. If no one else comes along, will get that for you later today.

I experimented with adding noise and blurring, seems to give a more realistic image I think, Or it could be just the way i remember it from watching tv lol.

Excellent realism in that last one and yeah, it does look like a grainy old TV image. LOL! He still needs some kind of red and or blue design over that silver though to be a good Ultraman. And where's his chest timer?

Still working on him, I agree he need more then silver, Ill add the red in later when i buy david's body suit at daz, ill make a transmap and morph the suit to him allowing just the red to show that way i can use a good chrome map on him.

To me the grainy images looks like a painting from an old pulp magazine or paperback book. Cool. More Realistic I think.

are the ultra figures based on the P4 figures or are they original meshes?

While your at it got the dite for Godzilla lol, i remember phile had a site for them i think.

Ultra figures are original meshes. Justion is my favorite so far. =) The two Godzilla models I have are by ScottA...someone was hosting them for him but I lost the link. Was in a thread here in the forums a while back though, so shouldn't be too hard to find.

Mighty Lady only seems to have the Ultrawomyn figure .... where do you get the Ultraman figure ?

There are a couple Ultraman models that Mighty Lady has done....they just aren't as muscular.

Tucan-Tiki took his head and put it on a beefed up David body for these renders. Ultraman Neo (last row of ultrafigures right above the monsters) is a bit more muscular than the other Ultraman figure she has.

Just don't forget to give Ultraman David a Blinkie Chest timer. ;)

i plan to slim that down some and make him a bit slimer i dont want him looking like arnold lol.

It's looking really cool though. Perhaps when I get this current anime bug out of my system I'll get back to the Ultra figures...or maybe I should just give up and combine the two... =)
