Subject: Texture Map Question...Poser unresponsive.

Its been a while since I did any texture mapping so I am a little uncure as to what the problem is. I made a facial Texture map 2500x2500 at 72 dpi, just like the same dimensions of the APM_Face1.jpg and saved it as a .jpg file. But it tells me some kind of not enough memory erro and then makes the area appear without any texture map in place, just the underlying material. It says "Texture could not be loaded. Image map file could not be found, or there is not enough memory to load." I know I put the file there and it has no memory issues with the other files of same size......um.... help? What am I doing wrong? I am a morph guy, not a texture guy. If it is something simple, don't laugh too hard.smile

Lots of things take up memory in Poser. Check your paths first. If that isn't the problem, it is just likely poser needs a rest. Try restarting it.

Solved it. I forgot I needed to save in 8 bit RGB mode, not CMYK 16 bit. Sorry. smile
