... what does it actually count? Is it people actually browsing the site? People on line but not browsing here? Or what? I had to ask, its ambiguity been bugging me for ages. "x surfers currently online". Jack

This is number of active members logged onto the site at that time if I'm not mistaken:) Stacey

By clicking on "Who's Online" and scrolling to the bottom you will find the actual number of members that are logged in. Like right now the number at top reads 1810, but the actual number of members logged in is only 812. If I remember correctly, it was explained that the number at top is really showing the number of pages open (by members and visitors). So for example one person with several windows or tabs open (browsing and following links) can be adding 2,3,4, or more to that top count. SWAMP

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I see... um... a bit misleading then isn't it? Perhaps it will be sorted out when we get the new software. Jack
