From what I read on the marketplace pages the minimum price for any item, on sale or not, is $5.00. I think it has to do with transaction costs - if you'd buy an item for say $1.00, the transaction costs would be more than $1.00 and Renderosity/the merchant would actually lose money over this transaction.

Hi there I think it happens automatically if the person puts their whole store on sale. You will get an ebot for every item you have in your wishlist, even if it is not having a discount applied against it, because it's still "in the sale". Hope this helps explain it. Karen :-)

Hi....whenever I have products in my wishlist I always get a notice when they have gone on sale.....which I love to know about! One item that I recently put in my wishlist was originally listed at $5.00. About a week later (today) I got one of the "This item is on sale!" notices. I followed the link to find that the item was still at $5.00. Can someone explain this? Thank you!
