For the past week I've been laptopless. Hmm...lap-topless...less laptops...oh well...I haven't had a working computer, which is why I haven't been all that visible around here. Just so you don't think I fallen out on you guys or anything. I'm back again and it'll take a while to play catch-up. And that include the galleries too - IF I can browse them that is :)

The status of the galleries from day to day is anyone's guess. Sorry to hear of your laptoplessness, hope you get hooked up soon! ;]

I came back today, Kort. The problem with my laptop was the power supply for it and that they didn't have it in store when I needed it.
Now I've used a soldering iron to get the cables back together again temporarily and as soon as they get the power supply in store I will buy a new one.
Since I have a Toshiba Satellite it's hopeless to just walk into any computer store and buy a power supply for a laptop. None of the plugs will fit.

So this will have to do for now. Cindy...we just cross posted I believe...LOL And you seem to be up to your elbows in computer problems. Let me put it this way - EWWW. Hope you'll get it sorted out soon :) I know how it feels. :hugz back:

6 weeks, sheesh. Maybe we should just all take a holiday... ;^] Hang in there cyn. How soon 'til your custom jobbie is up and running? Sounds like a sweet machine. I get geek envy just thinking about those specs, lol.

So Cyn's going to have this awesome machine, all tricked out with the clear case and blue neon lights flashin (HEHE) She going to start playing UNREAL tournament and the SIMS and then dabble in the realm of 3d....She'' soon talk in poser lingo too (ROFL) Kort...you're on a MAC right? Get one of them new Intel based systems I've been hearing about! Suppose to ROCK! Christa, we had a li'l issue with my wifes Toshiba laptop a last month. Our dog ran by the sofa, snagged the cord and literally pulled it right off my wifes lap! Laptop was ok...but the plug on the back of the laptop fell inside the case...so we can't plug it in! Too much to fix too, with shipping and repair costs...it was about as much as a new laptop!

I hear ya cyn. 3D was how I started here...but somehow the photography bug bit me and i got back into that and the 3D stuff took a back seat. I'd love to get the latest 3D stuff, but it takes time to learn and get good at. Bryce is a good choice for a 3D program with a "less" steep learning curve.

My Mac isn't the dual core jobbie, it's just the older dual processor version. ;] I know, Mac prices are a bit steep. But you really do get what you pay for, IMHO. I think you'll have a kick @$$ system yourself.

Yes thank you, Pascale...I had it back only a day or two after I sent it to you.
