This photo looks absolutely nothing like me at all, yet..it is me. The only lighting is a candle I am holding underneath my face, exposure time is about a minute. I wanted to try and make me look like someone I'm not..and in this pic I look more like a bloke! As a matter of fact, I look almost exactly like my boyfriend's brother. Which is funny because I normally look very feminine...so this is me, but not quite me after all.

This is really cool...I would be scared to take a picture of me, the camera might break and I just don't want to take that chance...LOL...Great pic!! Leigh

this almost looks like a statue of Madonna (i mean, catholic art, of course, not the one with the music records). very cool self-portrait.

Hahah..I look dead do I? Well I had to be..try sitting dead still for a minute. Not all that easy..I didn't quite manage either. I was going for sort of a spooky warlock look...my eyes are closed for the simple reason that my eyesight is terrible, and if I had worn my glasses I would have got light reflections in them..but I'm terribly cross eyed so if I kept my eyes open I'd look very weird.

You know it reminds me of a candlelit church statue...you've given me an idea for photography. Thanks Marsh, I enjoy your work and fresh ideas alot.
