Very nice - thanks! Is there a way to convert these into Vue plant format (to get minor variations when creating new instances)?

I'm afraid the answer to that is no, unless they are .veg files.

I have to say I'm rather disappointed with the plant editor that comes with Vue 5i. I assumed naively that it would allow one to create veg files, and that one could create any sort of plant with it. Whereas one gets the same little plant selection that shipped with Vue 4, and an editor that lets you bend them a bit and swap the leaf materials over. It's really a bit weak. They might at least have increased the number of plants.

It does have its limitations, certainly. Whilst there are some new varieties added in Vue 5 to those that came with Vue 4,I guess that they didn't include too many as they were possibly holding them back for Cornucopia3D.

When I pay as much as I pay for Vue5i over Vue4E, I expect to get a decent selection of extra plants included for the price, not just to have the opportunity to buy more. It leaves a sour taste.
