And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Sigh....youve done it again Sir Richard. Youve taught us something new. I have a full CD of Photoshop-actions but i never bothered learning how to even apply them. I guess now i have no excuse anymore...better check out to see if im missing out or not. Thanks buddy. Brilliant explanation!!!! MAS4EVA!!!! #:O)
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Once the action is written it will always be there to use each time you open photoshop. By doing it as percentage it scales to any size or layout. If you ever want to delete one then you grab it and drag it to the trash can.

Richard, I have now the "golden rule" and the "rule of thirds" on Actions. Now, how to do it for triangles! I can figure it eventually. Why didn't I just go ahead and make these two grids a long time ago? LOL at myself. Will use it once in a while.Taking some of my better images, I applied the rules and was surprised to see how closely the pics already fit the rules. Whew, that just comes from practice and eyeball composition. Good stuff.
The web site offers an "online image adjuster", said "still in the works". I have not tried it since I have my own now. Here 'tis for anyone interested, buried now on page 2 of the forum. Tom.

1 - Go to: Edit/Preferences/Units and Rulers and make sure that next to Rulers it says Percent, Type says Pixels. Then OK it [pic 1.]
2 - Open up a New image file from: File/New - doesn't matter what I just opened a blank white one here.
3 - Locate your actions palette and click on it to make it active. Then click on the triangle up in the top right corner and choose: New Action. [Pic 2]
4 - Name your action - here I called it Golden Ratio Guides, then click Record. [pic 3]
5 - Go to: View/New Guide and click [pic 4]
