Subject: Help With Magnets?

Destiny ( ) posted Tue, 20 March 2001 at 1:54 PM ยท edited Fri, 26 July 2024 at 4:01 AM

I'm working on a new character. I want it to be a faerie, and I've used several morphs on the face and head...I also used magnets on the ears, to make them pointed, but not sticking out like the elf ear morph tends to do. My question is, how do I save the magnets? I know how to spawn a morph, but this is the first time I've ever used magnets. Any help would be gratefully appreciated :)

You answered your own question: spawn a morph. You spawn a morph, save your magnets to a prop library for quick use on other characters, then delete your magnet and set the morph you spawned to 1.000.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so very much :) I didn't realize that the magnets would be saved right in with the morph...so much to learn! I very much appreciate your help :)

heyas; once you spawn the morph, you dont need magnets. however, if you save your character with the magnets on it, the magnets will save with it. :)

Found that out...thanks :) Now at least I have a fairie head with ears that don't stick out like Dumbo's LOL

I aught to mention that while you can save a character with magnets, sometime when you open it again they are all weird, pulling the part out 10,000 percent or so. I haven't seen anybody else report this, but it happens to me, all the time. No problems with the morph version, though.
