You just need to select the V3 color maps in Vue4 and save them in V4. They then work fine in V5. Kind of tedious, I know - I had to do the same. The converter is on the CD but is not supported by E-on. Backup anything you try to convert using it.

The converter does not exist on Mac. As simple as that. A simple reason for that is maybe that Vue does exist on Mac only since version 4. So the situation is a little tricky I fear. I think you need to install Vue 4 on a PC, open the files there and save them then in Vue 4. THEN you can copy them over to the Mac and use them there. If that is not possible (not all have a PC at hand) then you should contact the creators and ask wether they can do it for you - or allow that a friend does the conversion on PC for you.

I am trying to use color maps that were created in Vue 3.1. I get an error message inside Vue 5 Esprit that says I need the Vue 4 conversion utility to change the files. I have Vue 4, but I see no conversion utility contained in the package. Can someone tell me where I might find a copy of this conversion utility? I'm using Vue5 Esprit on Mac OS X. Thanks in advance, Denny
