Made this Hand Scanner. But one thing I am not very happy with. On the hand scan I wanted to use a Avi file made from Animation Shop3 that came with PSP8. But when I select "Insert Image Transition", the darn program crashes. I never made a gif file or avi or anything in that matter from Animation Shop 3. It was the first time I was going to use it to its full potential. I looked for updates. Their is nothing. My version is 3.10. Wanted to use a green line move (scan) downward, then upward on the hand image. :-(

I sure like to make this as a freebie (Also other props I have made), but I do not have a website. Prop needs a little adjustment. Very easy to fix.

Well, I finally got Animation Shop 3 to function correctly. So, I was able to make a Avi file of a hand scan. Not what I wanted but hey..it is done. What happens is when the hand is being scanned, the image will scan green downwards. My goal was to have a green horizontal line go downward, then upwards. I am new to Animation Shop 3. So, maybe I could possible get it done in time. I am happy for the outcome of my project. One issue is the bottom of the scanner (Support). I want to smooth it out, and not bumpy looking. Going to take a break on this and live with it. Then tomorrow will fix. Then when done, will be sent out as a freebie.

Here is a better render. I have arrow pointing at my problem. Will be fixed. Then I can make many textures for this. :-)

Was planning on adding sounds. But then, I realized. Dunno how to add sounds anyways. Adding a avi file of sound waves when voice prompts to put hand on panel, and varifies. So, I used a image instead for the time being.
:-)

I have problems when making props. When they are done, I then think. Now what am I going to do with this. Even when not have a website to upload as a freebie. Wow..got someone to help me host this.. :-)

Cool scanner - looking forward to seeing the finished item. You can add sounds to a Poser animation, but I confess I've never tried it. ;)

I find fixing flaws to do better in the end. :-) Here is a render of what I done. Hand Scanner is completed. You can change the base color to any color in the material room. Right now, they will come in 4 color Props: Camo, Dark Plastic, Metallic Purple, and Chrome.

The new supports look much better. More in keeping with the scale of the scanner.
