Actually, a good example of how the 1D Mkii can 'cut' thru the foreground on servo tracking and still stays focused on the main object. (its a custom function which prevents the servo tracking from being thrown out by obstructions passing between the camera and the subject).

Might be of interest to Punaguy!

ID Mkii...1/8000th..ISO 400...f2.8 (Canon 70-200 2.8 IS USM)

Been reading the Stephen King Dark Tower series...bugger has a whole different meaning in that world. So, was it sea gull stew that night? ;]

Yo Jimbo, ya just gotta WING it somtimes (LOL!)!!! Y'know.. if you used one of Photoshops custom brushes and set the FEATHERING to 1111111.32 , you just might be able to fix this! ok OK...I'll "BUGGER" off now! Seriously...since you have plenty of megapixels, I would bet you could get a decent crop of this gulls front and back end! Would make for an interesting compo thats for sure!

cool shot! ..I don't see why you would say "bugger" That seems like some sort of European talk. I would say "cool"
