You can sometimes get the "target geometry" message when exporting and importing between Poser and Wings, without even moving a single vertice. It's just one of those things - an occasional bug between two otherwise great bits of software. I use Wings a lot in conjunction with Poser, and I sometimes get this happening. Wings sometimes adds "phantom" geometry to objects - ghostly lines and facets that can't be selected or deleted. This might be what causes the problem. Try exporting your .obj file from Poser, importing it into Wings, and then exporting it again to Poser, WITHOUT moving anything at all. If you still get the "target geometry" message, the best thing is to try the .obj in another 3d program.

(cross-posted in Wings forum) Hi. I've got a Poser model that I'm trying to make morphs for and no matter how careful I am to not create/delete any vertices, I get the dreaded "target object does contain correct number of vertices...". I need help! I'm a complete newbie to Wings (well, modelling in general, really). What's the correct method of exporting .obj's as morph targets?
