Subject: NEED (more) HELP -> Transparency on Props

I'm trying to create authentic eyebrows. After importing an *.obj file as a prop I can apply the texture correctly and the bump maps also work out fine. (P) I cannot get the transparency to work correctly, i.e. at all, though I'm using proper transparency maps. I created the eyebrow props by cutting them from the original face in a 3D Editor and exporting them as *.obj. Is there anything that has to be considered while making them (I already did all the usual stuff, such as UVMapping etc.)? Can somebody give me a hint on that? Thanks again for your time!

Did you slide the transparency slider from 0 to about 80% after you applied the trans. map? ScottA

Are you sure the object can take a texture? One way to check is to use UVmapper on it. If UVMapper says there's no UV coordinates, or that there is stuff out of range, you can fix that in the edit part of UV mapper.

I did all the usual stuff: Created mapping coords with UVMapper, tried all possible amounts with the slider, no effect! I got no clue!
