Anyone heard from MartinC lately or know where he's at?

HI Chud, well he hasn't updated any of his mac poser software for a long time, and there's other ways of doing things. Have you got a problem with your mac and poser? Lvoe esther

Hi Esther, I recently got Poser 6 and I've got a ton of stuff to install in the Runtime. I could do it all manually but that'd be a major pain. My G4 no longer accepts Classic or install OS9, so it's impossible to use any of MartinC's apps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, chud

Chud, you are so lucky you asked! Yes, it is a major pain without help. One thing to know is files don't need conversion from PC to work in a mac as they will work automatically. Did you know that PCs merge folders of the same name (add the files to subfolders of the same name) whereas mac computers replace the folders? There's a software called ditto by a member here called Kaveman. You just choose your source folder and target folder and ditto merges the two folders eg a little runtime for one product with your main runtime ie all the things get put into the right spot. What I normally do is make a test runtime folder and drop all my runtimes into that, then if it looks okay I merge it with my main runtime. You'll have to try it out on test folders to make sure you have the hang of it. Love esther PS: let me know if the link doesn't work PPS you do know you can have lots of runtimes with poser 6 without joining them all together if you want. It sometimes is easier to find things if you just keep things in their original runtimes especially complicated big runtimes.
