Subject: Conversion lenses - I need clarification

So I've got some mixed views on whether the 0.3x conversion lens has a bigger scope than the 0.5x. So what I'd like to know does a 0.5 have a bigger overall view than say a 0.66? i.e. is the smaller number (0.6) a smaller view?
