GothKurlz ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 12:28 PM

well i didnt say i like it over poser lol but i do like the idea that you can easily place your own photo over the 3d face, add music, and backgrounds etc in almost the snap of a finger! plus it just a lot of fun! ;)

GothKurlz ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 12:28 PM

oh and you can ad animations within a snap as well. very kewl!

xantor ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 1:32 PM

It does look good, you can buy a plugin to import figures from 3dsmax (but no poser plugin yet).

GothKurlz ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 2:32 PM

well hopefully with the rise in Poser freaks there will be a poser plugin soon ;) (hint hint to software developers)

jjsemp ( ) posted Thu, 16 February 2006 at 8:01 PM

Actually, the 3DS Max plug-in is free right now. Reallusion values it at being worth $4500, but it's a free download for the time being. I wish more figure-creators would tackle the task of porting figures over to I-Clone and rigging them for the software. There's a dearth of figures at the moment, and the marketplace for any kind of new I-Clone figure is wide open. So to any merchants who are tired of a saturated Poser market, you can have this new market all to yourselves. Even better, I wish E-Frontier would enhance the otherwise useless Avatar Lab (which they are still selling even though Adobe no longer makes Atmosphere) and allow it to be used for creation of I-Clone figures. -jjsemp
