Subject: Poser Speak: works with WAV files or not?

Hi All: To anyone with this program...can't seem to find the answer to this either in the forums or on the product page or product website. If I have a pre-recorded wav file can I import it into poserspeak like I can with mimic, and still have the same functionality, or do all the sounds have to come from computer-generated AT&T programs? There is a box in the program that says 'wav file' but I didn't know if that was input or output. thanks!

Im curious about that too, madriver. Ive only had PoserSpeak a few days, but what Im doing is just adding the wav in the cheap version of Sony Vegas. Its easy to cut and drag pieces of a wav to align with the video if need be. Ill use Cakewalk if necessary to stretch, but I doubt Ill bother much for my purposes. I also ordered a couple of the higher quality voices though because, well, Im lazy and I plan to use them a lot ;)

I thought you could only use the voices that the computer generates? Sharen

That might be so if you want to do everything from within Poser. But I'd bet most people who animate probably have some kind of a video editor anyway, and maybe a dedicated sound editor. It's easy to set up most wav files within your editor.

Wow tunesy. That sounds like a lot of work...too much, actually...I think I'll stick with Mimic for now.

...it's easy ;) PoserSpeak rocks, specially for the price.
