If you're using >Edit>Preferences>Units & Rulers >New document Preset.... that will only deal with a document you create when you do >files >New ... you control the output through the >Image Size settings... on one hand, you set the size.. by Pixel per Inch.. at the top... on the other hand, you also set the screen resolution, lower down in the same box... whatever you just "Open", Photoshop detects the size, etc, from what's stored in the file. The top of the >image size dialog SETS the size that will be output, unless you reset it in one of the special case outputs... like in jpg, or tiff. Since you say the problem is in psd files, I'd say that your Image size needs to be tweaked... checked BEFORE you save. Lou.

Yes the storm...all done, all fixed with the printer shop but my Photoshop CS2 (which I'm a newbie in it) has shown the signs of total madness. Now when I open a file; *.psd in it opens with 'image size' of 1/inch pixel..all of it...any psd file!! I try to re-arrange as 72/inch pixels but it does not obey...it shows btw that 1 pixel is a 100% of tha file! What can I do? I always show my preference as Web Design but even as I change to Printing and art works does not change the pixel ratio. Thanks for help.
