Subject: Newbie asks: Where do geometry files end up (how can I see them?)

I downloaded a couple free files that I had to place by hand into poser. They were alphabet files and ocassional words (Happy Birthday. When I unzipped the files all I found was a folder of obj files and a readme that did not tell where to place them. I put the folder containing the obj files in the geometry folder in my runtime - but they do not appear in any library file. I assumed they would end up in my figure or props library. As a newbie, I am uncertain what to do. I thought about just deleteing them to save disc space. . . but having posable words and a alphabet would be very handy. I am appreciative of any advice. Thanks for your consideration. Tim

If the archive contained nothing but OBJs (no PP2 or CR2 files), you'll need to manually import them into Poser via the File menu. You can then save them to the Props library for later use.

And when you're importing obj's it doesn't matter what directory they're in. Also, Kawecki as a nice utility in Freestuff. "Prop Viewer 2.0" will display obj's and pp2's even if they're still zipped. I've been using it for years; works great. (Thanks Kawecki!)
